Gilded bronze group of Yi-dam Vajradhara
Gilded bronze group of Yi-dam Vajradhara, Tibet, late 18th/early 19th century. Seated in dhyanasana and in yab-yum with his sakti, his hands clasping her in vajrahumkara mudra, two small figures flanking them, all on a double lotus throne, with an inscription around the base, on the back and on the flaming nimbus. Figure in good condition, one nimbus missing from small figure, the other a bit loose, some wear to gilding.
Size is 6 5/8" height x 7 1/2" width.
